Your AI marketing team, right inside Slack.
One admin installs it, the whole team benefits. Add Rory to your Slack workspace and give everyone brand-aware marketing help — slash commands, DMs, and @mentions — without switching tools or learning a new platform.
Your team already lives in Slack. Now your AI CMO does too.
Instead of switching to another tab, logging into a dashboard, and copying results back — just ask Rory directly where the conversation is happening. Everyone on the team can access brand-aware marketing help without learning a new tool. One install, the whole team benefits.
What you need.
Robynn account
Sign up or sign in at robynn.ai. Free accounts work.
Organization admin role
You need to be an admin in your Robynn organization to connect integrations.
Slack app install permission
You need permission to install apps in your Slack workspace. If your workspace restricts apps, see the note below.
Does your Slack workspace require app approval?
Some workspaces restrict which apps can be installed. If yours does, a Slack workspace admin needs to pre-approve Robynn first.
- 1. In Slack, click Admin in the sidebar, then Apps and workflows.
- 2. Click Browse in the top right and search for "Robynn".
- 3. Click Approve. Your team members can now install the app.
One admin installs. The whole team gets access.
A single Robynn org admin completes these steps once through the Robynn dashboard. After that, every member of your Slack workspace can use Rory — no individual setup required.
Open Integrations in Robynn
Sign in to your Robynn dashboard as an organization admin. Go to Settings → Organization → Integrations.
Click Connect on the Slack card
Find the Slack card under the Communication section and click "Connect." You'll be redirected to Slack's authorization page.
Choose your Slack workspace
If you belong to multiple Slack workspaces, select the one you want to install Rory into. This installs the bot workspace-wide — every member will be able to use it.
Review permissions and click Allow
Slack shows you exactly what Rory can access. Review the permissions (explained in detail below), then click "Allow." This completes the installation for your entire workspace — not just your account.
Invite Rory to team channels
You're redirected back to Robynn with a success confirmation. Open Slack and invite @Rory to your team's key channels so everyone can start using it. See the rollout guide below for best practices.
After install, here's how to get your team started.
Once the admin completes the OAuth flow, Rory is available to every workspace member. Team members don't need to install, configure, or sign up for anything — they just use it.
Invite Rory to channels
After install, Rory is available for DMs immediately but needs to be invited into each channel. Type the following in any channel where you want Rory available:
Tip: Start with 2-3 key channels (e.g., #marketing, #content) and expand from there based on team feedback.
Announce to the team
Let your team know Rory is available. Here's a ready-to-paste announcement you can drop into #general or your team channel:
Team members need zero setup
This is important to communicate: once the admin installs Rory, individual team members do not need to:
They just open Slack, find Rory, and start chatting. That's it.
First commands to share with the team
Include these in your announcement or pin them in channels where Rory is active. Concrete examples drive adoption:
What you can do once Rory is in your workspace.
Rory brings your full brand context into every Slack conversation. Ask for content, research, strategy — all grounded in your company's voice and positioning.
Slash Commands
Type /robynn followed by any question or request. Rory responds in-thread so your channel stays clean.
Direct Messages
DM Rory for private, ongoing conversations. Great for brainstorming, reviewing drafts, or getting strategic advice without the whole team watching.
Channel Mentions
Mention @Rory in any channel where it's been invited. Rory reads the conversation context and responds with relevant, brand-aware answers.
File Sharing
Share documents, images, or briefs with Rory and it will analyze them. Rory can also upload generated reports, images, and content back into your conversation.
